Electric mobility is picking up pace in Indian market. Every car manufacturer wants to take the advantage of the same. Mercedes-Benz is also doing the same. This year it will launch a new EV in India also it will introduce a unique EV module in the Advanced Diploma in Automotive Mechatronics.

This course module is already implemented in Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha (MKSSS) women’s college in Pune. This will promote diversity and equal opportunity for women and will subsequently be introduces in other institutes that run the ADAM course.

The ADAM course has been running since 2006 in 9 technical institutes. More than 1200 students have received placements in the automotive industry. The goal of the module is simple, to create an employable talent for EV industry in advanced mechatronics.

ADAM is a 12-month course, and with the EV Module will enable the student to understand the cutting-edge technology used in EVs today. Mercedes-benz will introduce the EV module in 2 more institutes this year. Institutions like Government Polytechnic (GPP), Pune, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneshwar, Government Engineering College, (GEC) Barton Hill Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala that already run the ADAM course will also get the EV Module.
