In an effort to provide access to electricity in public schools in rural areas, the Rajasthan Electricity Commission issued an order on Friday.
Business entities that incorporate solar energy systems with their CSR funds will be able to claim a renewable energy claim, which is a percentage of their total traditional energy consumption.
State DISCOM can also incorporate those solar systems into their investment plan and meet the RPO’s targets, the regulator said.
