Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) has re-issued tenders for the purchase of 800 MW of solar power for grid projects connected to the grid in Dholera and Raghanesda Solar Parks in the province.

The first tender is for 700 MW of solar projects (Phase IX-R) to be placed in the 1 GW Dholera solar park. The second tender will be to build 100 MW of solar projects (Phase X-R) at Raghanesda Solar park.

Both tenders require the tenderers to submit ₹ 400,000/MW. The deadline for submitting bids for both tenders is April 12, 2021, for online bids, and April 15, 2021, for offline bids.

The scope of the work of both tenders requires bidder financiers to build solar businesses and power lines up to the consolidation station. They must also obtain all the necessary approvals, approvals, and permits required to set up the project (including communications) from the national government and local agencies.

To be eligible to participate in a competitive bidding process for both tenders, the value of the consumer must be not less than 80 lakhs/MW of the quoted amount. Successful tenderers should enter into a ‘start-up’ agreement with a solar energy developer.
