Invest connect program was held in Mumbai. In the event, the Rajasthan government received investment commitments of Rs 1.94 lakh crore. The investors will invest the money in sectors including renewable energy, mines and minerals, engineering and pharma.

Of this, the state signed memoranda of understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 1,27,459 cr and letters of intent (LoI) to the tune of Rs 67,379 crore. These MoUs and LoIs were signed in the presence of the state’s Commerce and Industries Minister Shakuntala Rawat.

JSW Future Energy will invest Rs 40,000 crore to set up a 10,000 MW renewable project. It will be set up in the Jaisalmer district. Vedanta Group will invest Rs 33,350 crore whereas Greenko Energies will invest Rs 30,000 crore in integrated renewable energy storage.

Adani Green Energy will be investing Rs 20,000 crore in the districts of Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jalore and Jodhpur for a 4,000 MW project. Adani Total Gas has proposed a Rs 3,000-crore city gas supply project in Udaipur Bhilwara, Chittorgarh and Bundi.

With the prelude of the summit, the state was able to fetch MoU worth Rs 1,27,459 cr and LoIs worth Rs 67,379 cr. The total investment piled to Rs 1,94,800 cr.
